Kikyo

Kikyō was a miko who lived 50 years prior to the main events of the InuYasha series. The older sister of Kaede, she was responsible for purifying the Shikon Jewel but was deceived and fatally injured by Naraku. Kikyō bound her former lover Inuyasha to the Sacred Tree with a sealing arrow and sacrificed her own life to seal the Jewel away from the living. Later resurrected by the demon ogress Urasue as a vengeful revenant, Kikyo eventually meets her reincarnation: Kagome Higurashi. Heterosexual.
