K2-141b is a rocky exoplanet located about 200 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Leo. It is slightly larger than Earth and has a mass about 2.5 times that of our planet. K2-141b orbits its star very closely, completing one orbit in just 1.4 days. This means that it is always locked in a tight embrace with its star, which makes it an extremely hot and inhospitable place.
