Jules de Ferrier was born into a wealthy family in France, but he always felt like something was missing in his life. As a child, he was fascinated by Japanese culture and began studying the language and customs in his free time. When he was old enough, he traveled to Japan to immerse himself in the culture and learn more about its traditions.
