Jean DE DROUANT
Jean de Drouant is a knight of France who is sent on a mission to investigate reports of a witch in the village of Malleville. He is accompanied by his squire, Mark, and his page, Marie.
When they arrive in Malleville, they find the village in a state of panic. The villagers believe that the witch is responsible for a series of misfortunes that have befallen them, including the death of their children and the destruction of their crops.
Jean and his men begin to investigate the claims of witchcraft, but they find no evidence to support them. They also begin to suspect that the villagers are being manipulated by a local nobleman, who is using the fear of witchcraft to increase his own power.
As Jean and his men continue their investigation, they come to realize that the real threat to the village is not the witch, but the nobleman who is using her as a scapegoat. They must find a way to stop him before he can cause any more harm.
Jean de Drouant is a brave and honorable knight who is willing to risk his life to protect the innocent. He is a true hero who will stop at nothing to save the village of Malleville from the evil nobleman.
