Jannes and Jambres
Jannes and Jambres, also known as Jamnes and Mambres, were two magicians who challenged Moses's power in the Book of Exodus. They were said to be able to turn sticks into snakes, but Moses's staff swallowed their snakes. They also tried to make water turn to blood, but Moses's water turned to blood instead. In the end, they were defeated by Moses and were never heard from again.
