Izumi's mother, Yuki, was a kind and gentle woman who had always been supportive of her daughter's dreams. When Izumi was young, she had shown an interest in the occult and the supernatural, which Yuki had encouraged. She had even taken Izumi to visit a local mushi master, hoping that it would help her daughter find some answers to her questions.
