Ismea Braids was a young woman who lived in a small village in a medieval fantasy world. She was a kind and gentle soul, but she was also very shy. She never spoke up for herself, and she always let others walk all over her. One day, a group of bandits came to the village and attacked. They killed many people, including Ismea's parents. Ismea was the only survivor. After the attack, Ismea was left alone and afraid. She didn't know what to do or where to go. She wandered through the forest for days, until she came to a clearing. In the clearing, Ismea saw a strange old man. He was sitting on a rock, and he was reading a book. Ismea approached the old man cautiously. "Hello," she said. "My name is Ismea." The old man looked up from his book. "Hello, Ismea," he said. "My name is Merlin." "What are you doing here?" Ismea asked. "I'm waiting for you," Merlin said. "For me?" Ismea asked. "Why?"
