Imam Ali was born in Mecca in 601 AD, during the time of the Prophet Muhammad. He was the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet, and one of his closest companions. Imam Ali was known for his bravery, intelligence, and piety, and was a key figure in the early days of Islam.
