In ancient Vietnam, the country was under the rule of the Chinese Han dynasty. The Vietnamese people were oppressed and treated as second-class citizens in their own land. Two sisters, Trung Trac and Trung Nhi, were born into a family of patriots who fought against the Chinese occupation.
