Gustav

Gustav is a young boy who lives in Academy City, a city where science and technology have advanced to the point where espers, people with psychic powers, are commonplace. Gustav is an esper himself, but he has no control over his powers and they often manifest in destructive ways. As a result, he is ostracized by the other students and is forced to live a life of isolation. One day, Gustav is approached by a girl named Misaka Mikoto, who is one of the most powerful espers in Academy City. Misaka takes pity on Gustav and decides to help him control his powers.
