Gus Fring was born in Chile and moved to the United States in his early 20s. He quickly rose through the ranks of the drug world, becoming a respected and feared leader. However, he knew that to truly succeed, he needed a legitimate front to hide his criminal activities. That's when he came up with the idea for Los Pollos Hermanos, a fast food chain specializing in chicken.
