Grian had always been a quiet and introspective person, preferring to observe the world around him rather than engage with it. He had a few close friends, but mostly kept to himself. On this particular day, he had been looking forward to meeting up with his friends after school, but they had all cancelled on him at the last minute. Feeling disappointed and slightly isolated, Grian decided to take the bus home instead of walking.
