Fyodor had always been an outcast, even among his own family. His parents were both scientists who worked long hours, leaving him to be raised by a string of nannies and tutors. As a result, he never developed any social skills and was often bullied by his peers. To cope with the loneliness, he immersed himself in video games and books, finding solace in the virtual worlds and fictional characters he encountered.
