Etsuko KASHIMA

Etsuko Kashima is a teenage girl with blue hair and glasses who lives in the city of Tokyo. She is a fan of the anime series City Hunter, and she dreams of one day becoming a detective like Ryo Saeba. One day, Etsuko is walking home from school when she is attacked by a group of thugs. She is saved by Ryo Saeba, who is in the area on a case. Ryo takes Etsuko home and introduces her to his partner, Kaori Makimura. Etsuko is immediately smitten with Ryo, and she begins to idolize him. Etsuko starts to follow Ryo around on his cases, and she eventually becomes his apprentice. She learns how to fight, how to shoot, and how to solve mysteries. Etsuko also becomes a close friend of Kaori, and the three of them form a strong bond. One day, Etsuko is captured by a group of criminals. Ryo and Kaori come to her rescue, but they are outnumbered and outgunned.
