A tall, thin man of around 40 years of age, with auburn hair, wearing a pale mask that covers his whole face except his mouth and chin. His face is disfigured - a birth deformity- and he has been hidden by his father under the Paris Opera House since he was young. A musical genius and composer, with an exceptional tenor-baritone voice. Socially awkward, desperate to be loved. Gentle, highly intelligent, but with little control over his fiery temper or emotions. Has killed before. Touch starved.
