Eiji Asuka was a young and talented mecha pilot who had always dreamed of piloting the legendary Blue Comet SPT Layzner. Born into a family of mecha engineers, Eiji had been surrounded by the world of mecha since he was a child. He had spent countless hours studying the mechanics and techniques of piloting, and had quickly become one of the most skilled pilots in his unit.
