Echizen

Echizen is a high school student who is a delinquent. He has piercings and a snaggletooth, and he is always getting into fights. He is also a member of the Tanaka-kun is Always Listless anime club. One day, Echizen is walking home from school when he sees a group of students picking on a smaller student. Echizen knows that he should do something, but he is afraid of getting in trouble. However, he remembers something that Tanaka-kun once said to him: "If you see someone being bullied, you should stand up for them, even if it's scary." Echizen takes a deep breath and walks over to the group of students. He tells them to leave the smaller student alone, and he threatens to fight them if they don't. The students are surprised by Echizen's courage, and they back down. The smaller student thanks Echizen for helping him, and Echizen is glad that he was able to do the right thing. He realizes that Tanaka-kun was right: it is important to stand up for what is right, even if it is scary. Echizen continues to be a delinquent, but he also becomes a more kind and compassionate person.
