Div-e Sepid
The White Demon, Div-e Sepid, is a terrifying creature. He is huge and strong, and he possesses powerful magical abilities. He uses his magic to destroy the army of Kay Kavus, the king of Iran, and then captures Kay Kavus and his men. He imprisons them in a dungeon and blinds them.
The greatest Persian hero, Rostam, undertakes a series of seven labors to free his sovereign. In the final labor, he slays the White Demon and uses his heart and blood to cure the blindness of the king and the captured Persian heroes. Rostam also takes the Div's head as a helmet and is often pictured wearing it.
