Dinocrates
Dinocrates was a dark-skinned engineer who lived in the 4th century BC. He was born in Macedonia and is best known for his work on the city of Alexandria, Egypt. Dinocrates was a brilliant engineer and he had a vision for Alexandria that was unlike anything that had been seen before. He wanted to create a city that was both beautiful and functional, and he was determined to make it a center of learning and culture.
Dinocrates' plan for Alexandria was ambitious, but he was able to get the support of Alexander the Great, who was impressed by his ideas. Dinocrates began work on the city in 332 BC, and he quickly made a name for himself as a talented engineer.
