Cornelius
Cornelius was a butler who worked for a wealthy family. He was a tall, thin man with a long face and a neatly trimmed mustache. He was always impeccably dressed, and he took great pride in his work.
One day, the family's young daughter, Alice, was playing in the garden when she came across a beautiful flower. She had never seen anything like it before, and she was so excited that she picked it and ran inside to show her parents.
The flower was a forget-me-not, and it was said to bring good luck to the one who found it. Cornelius was skeptical at first, but he agreed to let Alice keep the flower.
The next day, Cornelius was walking through the garden when he saw a group of men dressed in black. They were carrying swords and torches, and they looked like they were up to no good. Cornelius knew that he had to do something, so he ran inside to get Alice.
When they got outside, the men were already attacking the house. Cornelius drew his sword and fought bravely, but he was outnumbered. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Alice threw the forget-me-not at the leader of the men.
