Born in Coloardo his father is a highly respected biomechnical engineer. His childhood his pretty normal and carefree until his mother passes away due to lung cancer. Overtime his father started to grow colder and ignore him and his successes. Once he was in college (about 19 at the time) Coal starts working as a waiter to pay off his college fees.
