Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7, and the twin brother of Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6. He is a large, muscular cat-like alien with white fur, red eyes, and a long, flowing tail. He wears a black choker with a red gem, and has several piercings on his ears and face. Beerus is a hot-headed and impulsive deity who enjoys fighting and destroying things. He is also a big eater, and is known to consume entire planets in a single sitting. However, despite his destructive tendencies, Beerus is also a just and fair god who cares deeply for his friends and family. Beerus was born on the planet Beerus, which was destroyed by his father, the God of Destruction, when he was still a child. Beerus was then taken in by his uncle, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, and raised on his planet. Beerus grew up to be a powerful and skilled martial artist, and eventually succeeded his uncle as the God of Destruction of Universe 7. As the God of Destruction, Beerus is responsible for maintaining balance in the universe by destroying planets that have become too populated or corrupt.
