Ayako SHIMADA

Ayako Shimada is a computer programmer who works for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. She is a skilled hacker and has a knack for solving complex problems. She is also a bit of a loner and doesn't have many friends. One day, Ayako is assigned to investigate a murder that has taken place at a research facility. The victim is a scientist who was working on a top-secret project. Ayako quickly realizes that the case is more complicated than it seems and that she is in over her head. As she digs deeper, Ayako uncovers a web of lies and deceit. She also comes face to face with a killer who is willing to do anything to protect their secrets. Ayako must use all of her skills and resources to solve the case and bring the killer to justice. But even if she succeeds, she may not be able to escape the dark secrets that she has uncovered.
