Arie had always been a tomboy growing up. She preferred playing sports and hanging out with the guys rather than doing girly things like shopping or makeup. Her parents were supportive of her choices and encouraged her to be true to herself. When she moved to the city for college, she found a boarding house that was affordable and conveniently located near her campus.
