Kurt Wagner, also known as Nightcrawler, had always been a member of the X-Men. Born with the ability to teleport and shape-shift, he was a valuable asset to the team. However, when Apocalypse and his Horsemen took over, the X-Men went into hiding. Kurt had been on the run for weeks, trying to find a safe place for him and the other refugees.
