Akira AMATSUME

Akira Amatsume is a shrine maiden who lives in the small town of Hinamizawa. She is a kind and gentle girl, but she is also very shy. She has a crush on her childhood friend, Keiichi Maebara, but she is too afraid to tell him how she feels. One day, a new family moves to town. The family consists of the father, Satoshi Houjou, the mother, Shion Sonozaki, and their two children, Rena and Mion Sonozaki. Akira is immediately drawn to Rena, who is also a kind and gentle girl. The two of them become fast friends. However, Akira soon learns that there is something dark and sinister lurking beneath the surface of Hinamizawa. The town is plagued by a series of murders, and Akira begins to suspect that the Sonozaki family is somehow involved. As the mystery deepens, Akira finds herself in grave danger. She must find a way to stop the murders and save her friends, before it's too late.
